The jerseys are finished and can be picked up at your leisure at my home. If you are unable to pick them up, please let me know and I'll try to drop them off. I will be home until Saturday evening, then gone for a week for Guard's - Annual Training, and returning Saturday, August 1st. Thank you for your patience with this. I know it has been disappointing and frustrating for all of us... Also, if you have a team owned jersey, they need to be turned in and will remain with the team equipment until next season.

August Games Planned
We were unable to schedule a makeup game tonight with Murdo due to a shortage of players all the way around. I spoke with Murdo and we are both interested in having some weekend games to kick off school around mid-August, after Rushmore Band Camp ends. We'd like to play Murdo, Kadoka, and possibly Presho, at that time. More to come about that later...

Total Bummer
I was totally bummed out to learn the field was too muddy for our final game. Sorry I wasn't able to post earlier, but I was in Rapid City when the news came, which is why I notified everyone by phone.
Trying to reschedule... will let you know. I was thinking Wednesday, but we are missing so many players this next week due to camp and a Youth Group Trip to New Orleans. Perhaps an August Back-to-School event? I don't know yet, but I will let you know as soon as possible. Ideas are welcome. If you have any thoughts, please let me know.bknutson@gwtc.net

Last Game/Photo Op
Our final game is a home game at 5:00 MT, Monday, July 20th with Murdo. There will be two games, each running aproximately 1 hour and fifteen minutes.
Plan to be there by 4:30 to warm up and take a group photo for the Pioneer Review, with Del Bartels. This means we need as many of the girls there as possible, for both teams. I realize some of the players will be away for Camp Hallawasa, and I appologize. Next year we'll try to get a group photo earlier, before all of the camps begin!

Woo Hoo! Double Header!
Woo Hoo, I'm a happy girl!
We play the first two games in Murdo at 4:30, and 5:30 pm (Mountain Time) tomorrow, Wednesday, July 15th. It's going to be early, so we'll meet at the field at 3:00 pm (MT) tomorrow to caravan over. Rides can be provided, and if you can offer extra seating, please let me know at the field. I appreciate it!
The last and final game will be at Home, Monday, July 20th with Murdo at 5:00 pm (MT). Also, plan to wear the embroidered jerseys. And I just learned the screen printed jerseys will NOT be ready in time for any games this season, but I will get them to you this summer.

Foiled Yet Again, Schedule Changed
Sorry, we've been foiled by the weather yet again. Murdo just called it off, and Kadoka has, too. No games tonight.
Next game will be an away game in Murdo, Wednesday July 15th. (I begged them to let us come and turn it into a double header, and they agreed.) That game may start as early as 4:00 pm (MT), which I will let you know as soon as possible. Games will run 1 hour each. We'll play the first two, Kadoka the second two, and Murdo first and third. More to come, so watch here for updates. It's possible we may have to take later games if we cannot get started that early.
The "Parents vs. The Girls" Potluck and Games will be cancelled (or rescheduled) since we're using that night as a double header in Murdo.

Bad News!
So sorry, but I've just but I've just been informed our game with Fusion has been cancelled tomorrow. Fusion was playing us during their scheduled practice time, which for them, is technically a "scrimmage." Their league uses practice times to make up games that have to be missed due to inclement weather, and that is the case here. Brad Burns is checking into what might be available for possibly rescheduling a game with us, but I told him I needed to get some feedback from you if this is something we want to look into.
